As a teacher for 19 years, I have noted that the difference between the student who thrives in school and the student who does not is not necessarily his or her family structure or socioeconomic condition or intellectual capacity. The difference is that the thriving student has effective habits that are essential for success. These habits can be learned. Our mission here is to teach them.

Karen Dugas is phenomenal! My daughter Bailey was having some struggles with her Geometry Honors course. She began tutoring with Karen and has made amazing strides. Bailey currently has an A average in her course and her confidence has greatly improved. During tutoring sessions, Karen also incorporates ACT prep skills. Bailey, a sophomore, took her first ACT early spring and scored a 26 in math! We can’t wait to see how much her math knowledge and ACT score will improve with Karen’s guidance! She rocks!
